Moving forward, things like this will be classified as ghetto gourmet.  Or, “putting random crap from my fridge into a pan”.
Leftover rotini pasta, cubed breaded chicken, and peas, sauteed in garlic, olive oil, and a little butter.  Cracked black pepper and parmesan cheese over the top.  Simple, and cost nothing (this time around at least).

Chicken and steak burrito from Fresh Tortillas Grill in Hoboken.  $6 bucks bought me a huge burrito, stuffed with huge pieces of steak and chicken.  However, flavors were a bit lacking.  It wasn’t bland, but it didn’t taste tex-mex-y.  The burrito lacked rice and limited amount of beans.  What’s worse was a shoddy wrapping job, which made it more like a big soft-shell taco moreso than a burrito.
Still, this is semi-explained through the chefs operating the grill: they’re Chinese.  The place is directly next door to Hoboken Cottage, one of the many chino take-outs that line Washington Street.  The two share the same kitchen and cooking area: I know this because I’ve seen a person inside of Hoboken Cottage walk across behind the counter, and appear in Tortilla Grill!  From experience prior to starting this blog, I can vouch for their Asian cuisine: delicious! (I will review on our next night-in).  Too bad I can’t say the same for their Tex-Mex.
For the broke and super hungry, this is the meal for you.  I downed the burrito in one sitting, though I’m sure my gut and today’s lunch would’ve benefitted from saving it.  It wasn’t the most savory dish, but still pretty good for the price.
