Wheat bread for my sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich from Champs Deli costs $.30 extra. If I want brown rice instead of white with my beef with brocolli, that’ll be $.50 more.  A salad with mixed greens MUST cost more than a salad with romaine.  When will these commonly held “premium” food upgrades start becoming the standard instead of the exception?  Why should healthy alternatives have to come at a cost?
