Long Lines for Cake Boss Confectioneries
How did Hobokenites spend Thanksgiving Weekend’s gorgeous Saturday afternoon? Waiting patiently in line to get into Carlo’s Bake Shop, perchance to catch a cannoli from Cake Boss himself, Buddy Valastro. People curled around the block, armed with cell phone cameras and point-and-shoots. I’m guessing this will be the norm from now until Christmas. Verizon, Ruggerio Realty, and El Barrios Burritos can either thank the bakery for the added exposure, or curse at the human baracades blocking their doors.
My sister wanted to see Buddy, but, like me, was not willing to wait in this massive line to do it. I’ll see him on TLC.
